Wow. My plan was to do it by forcing trades.

Jesus christ, that would have been awful compared to doing the fantasy draft.

Any other tips as for how to expedite the process?

I have no idea how Charlotte made the playoffs.

Star power is looked upon very kindly in this.

If you can get an upgrade at SF during the offseason you should make them for sure next season.

Forcing trades isn't a bad idea, it just takes longer. The only reason I did the fantasy draft was that it was the quickest way to change the rosters. If you're gonna change the rosters themselves, I would do them over a span of a week or so, because doing them all at once is way too time consuming.

I have no idea how Charlotte made the playoffs.

I don't know how some teams made the playoffs to be honest. I did a couple of test sim prior to the actual results and here are the things I found interesting in those test sims:
- Toronto ended up with #1 seed in the East a couple of times.
- New Jersey was a .500 team or better in about half of the test sims. While they did not have any star power, they had 6 almost 7 players average double figure PPG.
- The West was so deep that every team except for Sacramento and Minnesota had shot at making the playoffs. (No offense zu and sofakingbad)
- Guys like T-Mac, Peja, James Harden had at least 20 PPG. Lou Williams averaged 28 or something.

There were a bunch of other interesting trends but that's all I could remember on 4 hours of sleep. I'll send stats to those that requested it later tonight. Keep in mind that this is 2009-10 rosters so players are rated as they would be during that season. That said, some players aren't as developed as they are today and some players still had life in their game.

I'll post league leaders and stuff like that later on tonight if I have time.

Don't forget: PLAYOFFS WILL BE SIMMED EITHER AT MIDNIGHT TONIGHT OR TOMORROW.

I still don't think you had to put the work in, but I'm not going to complain.

Thanks, Jay! Totally appreciated Grin
