check these trade scenario's out & let me know what you think.
 http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=165~2754~1717~2772~2782~662~25~3000&teams=23~23~2~2~23~18~2~18

The Celtics get players that you can build around either DURANT or ODEN.
SACREMENTO gets in return young players with Upsides, plus they rid themselves of ARTEST (take in consideration that MIKE BIBBY will become a free agent at the end of the 06-07 season, and the chances of him staying in SAC is pretty slim).
The KNICKS gets them a KRUNCH time go-to player in his prime, and someone who can take the pressure of double teams off of EDDIE CURRY. If you we're the KNICKS GM, and both of these trades we're presented to you, which would you take.

or check this trade out. With this trade Indiana take on Steve Francis bad contract, for Jamal Tinsley bad contract while getting three players that can help them right away. To make the deal a little sweeter for Indiana The Knicks would swap their first round draft pick for Indiana's 2nd round draft pick (2007). If you was indiana GM, and O'NEAL asked you to trade him, would you take this trade?[/b]

the 1st isnt too bad but i dont think boston would take on artest, if he wasnt crazy it would be a good trade.

2nd one probably wont work cause of francis's contract they wouldnt take it on

Well the first one is just stupid, frankly. I shouldnt need to say why.
By default, the second one wins, but neither are decent imho.  Smiley

Again, you are overvaluing (sp)(if it is even a word) the young talent on the Knicks. Most teams in the league, with the exception of the Knicks themselves, aren't going to trade a superstar player (Paul Pierce, Jermaine O'neal) for Channing Frye, David Lee and a shoot first point guard like Nate Robinson.
