This is not the same franchise when Woody was there!

They have lost their way. What they need is more Asian players.

Especially the ones who can sing "Oh! Ching Chong Ling Long Ting Tong" and distract the opposing players.

I laughed so hard at this.

However, Regal brings up a good point, they have a top recruit (#1 or #2 depending on who you ask), and while it's a 1 year thing, it's still a great pickup for them. Also, it's not like they've been doormats or anything. It was only a few years ago when they were making deep tournament runs.

myeh and Rivals #2 ranked player Kyle Anderson also signed with UCLA.  so they've grabbed the #1 player and the #2.  i'd hate to see UCLA when they're good to go if this is a collapse. lol  they need to go through this more often

Hahaha, that's good to hear.

Anyways, they also have had some solid NBA players come out as well: Westbrook, Holiday, Love and Collison just to name a few.

Just because they have the top class doesn't mean anything. This group need to play first. Do well. Then the coaching staff needs to continue to bring in top recruits.

the recent season was a disappointment, but that doesn't mean the program has had a collapse, and that's evident with all the recruits they've gotten. No UCLA coach will ever be as good as Wooden, so it's tough to compare the program to back than, but I do think they'll be in the final 4 with the new recruits, eventually.
