Well, I was looking ahead to the 2012 NBA draft and was thinking, with the depth on our roster and where we'll be picking, do the Nuggets go for BPA or do we try and fill a need ??

We will need a backup PG, a backup SG as well as depth at PF if we amnesty Birdman...I believe we have good talent/depth at SF and C so those would be the last positions we need to draft IMO

Also, I am expecting Masai to try and bring in a star with a trade, do we try to anticipate for that and draft accordingly ??

thoughts ?

Are they going to resign Fernandez? They should draft a backup PG.

I understand they like Rudy, but his back issues have kept him out of a lot of games this year, as has been his history.

Jeremy Lamb, Dion Waiters, Austin Rivers, Terrance Ross & Tony Wroten Jr.

Lamb will probably be drafted earlier. Waiters could fall. I think Rivers will be a lottery pick. Ross or Wroten are options. I'm not really in love with anybody and would love to send the pick to a team for a future pick like we did awhile back with Alexis Ajinca then traded that pick for Lawson.

Being that this is a deep draft, I'm sure that may be an option, it depends on the team (CHA  vs. CHI ) and the length/terms of deferment. I wouldn't be opposed, especially with the depth and youth already on our current team

Looked into Quincy Miller a bit more, even thought he was overshadowed by PJ3 at Baylor, he does look better than I thought. I've come around to him at 20, but either a trade or moving Hamilton to SG or both. I could see us trading WC if that happens.
