Finally some better funding for the team and also it seems as if Triano will be our next coach. Nash is the best recruiter we have to offer so this is a great move. We could definitely have a good basketball program here in Canada, we have some great prospects in Wiggins and Bennet, and NBA prospects such as Thompson, Joseph, and such. Just happy that Canadian basketball is taken more seriously, especially in the country itself. We can be a competitive country if we actually have players willing to play.

Anyhoo, it seems as though Triano is likely to land the head coaching job, according to Doug Smith. He also states that Nash plans on having an national team camp with about 25 guys to build a team culture and select a pool of players to make-up future Team Canada rosters. I like this idea because they have considerable talent but a lot of it is young so if you throw them all in a camp with the older guys they'll learn a few things and might even surprise you and make the team.
