This is a trade idea I think the Bucks should look into if certain circumstances arise.

No question, Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis will leave this team at the end of next season. Without these two, the team will be in a world of trouble. Obviously some moves have to be made before this time comes.

This trade is only put into consideration if the following happens:

Eric Gordon decides to leave New Orleans. Ersan Illyasova chooses to leave the Bucks. Milwaukee lands in a spot in the draft to select a PG, presumabley Kendall Marshall.

Milwaukee Bucks trade SG Monta Ellis to New Orleans for SF Trevor Ariza, SG Xavier Henry & 1rst round draft pick Jeremy Lamb (New Orleans 2nd selection in the 1rst round)

The Bucks are left with a young guard rotation of Marshall/Lamb after Jennings leaves via free agency.

The long term outlook

Ekpe Udoh, Larry Sanders
Drew Gooden, Tobias Harris
Luc Mbah a Moute, Trevor Ariza, Mike Dunleavy
Jeremy Lamb, Xavier Henry
Kendall Marshall, Beno Udrih

Next season I like the team keeping Jennings for his final year, with Marshall playing behind him for his rookie season. A free agent signing this summer of a veteran SG to play beside Jennings like Anthony Parker would be a positive. Giving both Marshall and Lamb a season to ease into their NBA careers as back ups before they are given the keys to the starting PG and SG spots.
