Several threads on here and other sites talking about getting a #2 guy for Rose. And I've said it myself, That the Bulls need Rose , #2 elite scorer and an elite rebounder. Well Dwight Howard provides two of the three and we all ready have Rose. He is a defensive coach's dream and can provide more scoring then Deng or Boozer and is as good if not better rebounder then Noah. Deng 13m + Boozer 15m + Noah 11m = 39 million a season. What would Dwight cost ? 20m ? I say "F" it. Rose is out Deng needs surgery and we can package the Charlotte pick Put all we can into bringing superman to the windy city. I really like our players as much as the next homer, But I like seeing our team win multiple championships better. So get him and Orlando to commit.  |

I think Orlando would demand Gibson instead of boozer. If they take boozer the bulls will def have to take back Turk.

I have now prob taking Turk. But I'd like to see them work a three team deal for Howard. Sending Deng to a young team for young players and draft selections, Sending those young players and draft picks + Noah to Orlando and Howard to Chi. Not sure I would want Howard, he could lead us to a championship, or he could destroy our chemistry and lead us back to the lottery. He needs to grow up.
If he signed an extension, sat down with Pax, Gar, Thibs, & Rose, and worked out exactly what would be expected of him, and everyone was in agreement, then I might make the trade.

He definetly is goofy and immature. And he's only 5 ppg & 5 rpg better then Noah. But the way this team is constructed now, isn't good enough. But that seems the only quick fix. Like I said in my other thread, They may just trim salaries for a couple years to avoid the luxury tax. And build from within.

Boozer/Turk/Gibson
Howard/Asik Rose / 29th Pick / JL3 Hamilton / Korver / Butler Turk / 5th Pick / Brewer Boozer / Gibson Howard / Asik Boozer's gonna be hard to move. So yes in that trade we still have Boozer. And Turk's contract comes off in two years. I'm sure we can make a deal to get rid of Brewer as well. 5th pick (Harrison Barnes) and 29th pick (Combo Guard). |

Whoever is there I guess...I like all 3, I like Bradley Beal too, but hes a SG.
Brandon Roy is talking comeback...could be a backup option depending on how healthy he is. But with a team like that....Bulls can find a guy who will take less to start for us.
Another team looking to trade is Portland. They have the 6th pick....

I guess at least with Howard you have inside scoring and Boozer wouldn't be so bad shooting midrange then Turk starting won't be so bad and if we got a 5th let Barnes develop and somehow try to get rid of Turk possibly for Rose's return since he'll have an expiring contract possibly picking up a 2 guard...perhaps something like Nick Young if lucky or better Young possesses the size that would make for a terrific defender and can light it up... that starting line up would have it on both ends |

It actually works out quite well with Boozer an Howard. You have inside game an outside game and probably one of the best rebounding duos in the league. They wont get in the way of eachother. Bulls need to seriously get involved in some trade talk.
