Exactly....Bulls are waiting it out an keeping their assets. Eventaully these teams will start dying off an the Bulls will still have the best package....no doubt in my mind Gar/Pax Thibs all want Dwight Howard. But will they trade to get him? They wanted him during December, I dont see why they wouldnt want him now. Bynum IMO will never sign a Sign N Trade deal to go to Orlando. Like swag said, he wants nothing to do with rebuilding especially when he is playing on a contender in LA. I really dont see that trade working out. Next up is the Atlanta Hawks...Maybe they offer Horford an Teague....but Dwight would still not have anybody on that team besides 1 of his best friends Josh Smith an Luo Williams...Devin Harris as well. If the Bulls trade for him....we still will have solid players, a top 5 guy, great coach, hopefully Taj Gibson still, 30$million more dollars to offer him on his next contract,Title contender, big market, no better situation out there, an the list goes on....Boozer can be amnestied. NO WAY DWIGHT WANTS TO GO THROUGH THIS AGAIN. I bet he stays for a while at his next destination.

Good find....SUPERSTARS WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS. If it cost you Deng an Noah....DO IT. It doesnt matter....Dwight Howard will be on your team an the Bulls will still be winning games. Your not re-signing a 30year Luol Deng in 2 years anyway. Get something for him NOW. Thibs is a defensive coach. Van Gundy not so much...Thibs runs a good offense. Van Gundy loves jacking 3s. GET DWIGHT Howard...plain an simple. Dwight wasnt a problem when his team was winning games...Bulls will deff. be winning games.

Its just a waiting game now. Dwight is surrounded by Yes man. So they do what he says, But his agent is a lawyer from Yale. So hopefully he has got some smarts and tells Dwight he needs to fA get about it No Brooklyn ...

Well ? Looks like Dwight's people finally got him to see that he isn't going to Brooklyn, and now he says he is willing to sign long term if he is traded to the Lakers. Which I have thought he would had west, And LA is a good fit for his personality. Trade talks with LA have now become the focus and his likely destination. I as well as other wanted him to land in Chicago, not just cause he is a good player, but because him leaving in the summer could be a blessing. The Bulls what have cap room galore and be able to move forward. Thier still are possible snags (like Bynum agreeing to it) and the fact Orlando has asked for a team to take thier bad salaries back. The main thing and the only hope for Chicago is, that Dwight has somewhat seen the light. And if this Laker deal falls through the Bulls could be next team on list. Thought I do agree with most the posters on here, That he is the Terrell Owens of the NBA. If this goes thru, It will be interesting what it costs Kupchak. And the way Dwight chances his mind, They could get screwed. Unlike the Bulls, They can't afford to blow thier team up. I still feel this is a plow to get out of Orlando and he still plans to become a UFA and sign where he chooses (Brooklyn?). http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/222486/Dwight_Howard_Ready_To_Commit_To_Extension_With_Lakers

I still don't see Bynum agreeing to this. Everybody seems to just forget about him. Why the heck would Bynum say yes to this? He would go to Cleveland! Lol Ya he likes Byron Scott an Kyrie but really? I don't see it happening but if this trade does go down the Bulls are complete idiots for letting it happen right in front of them. They do realize they will never win a title if this happens right!? Dwight Howard is kind of a big deal. Stop the love fest for our good players on this team an make a trade! Its a shame that the Bulls are acting as if we are the Toronto Raptors with no winning history behind us. He didn't want to go to LA but now look.

First, I'll start with Bynum. I agree, but I think he wants to leave LA because the spotlight is too bright for him. Very stupid on his part. Howard still seems to want Brooklyn, but LA in his mind could work. As we have discussed, It's all about the market and being the Man. In Brooklyn, He is in the biggest market and he is the man. And I really as silly as it sounds think he feels superman belongs in Metropolis .. New York. In LA he isn't the man but could be the man in two or three years when Kobe is gone. And it's the second biggest market, The weather in nice year round like in Orlando. Plus, He can be a celebrity among celebrities. I think it's a slim change for Chicago now, And actually was always as excited about the chance to be players out, As I was to get Howard. For Chicago to win titles win Rose, First he has to rehab to 100% and second they need to quit worrying about balance and start looking to get a star to pair with Derrick. Then once they have Rose , Second Star and Noah they can build a deep bench.

Heard that Orlando did talk to Chicago and they only way they would touch Deng is if Turk was going back to Chicago. Otherwise they were looking for a deal that included Noah, Taj, Butler, Teague, Mirotic, Charlotte's pick and at least one of our future firsts. Bull's weren't interested.

Damn ...smh. I'm glad it looks like he is headed west thou. Unless L.A. makes finals Bulls won't have to worry about them. Now, We need to change the team so we will be in the finals. I'm good with this team of players: 1. Rose 5. Noah 4. Mirotic Not sure if Butler makes a better 2 or 3. But with Improvement he could work as a Thabo type player, with more athletism. So far I see him as a more of a small forward. So then we need to find an elite 2 or 3 the pair with Rose. And Butler could play the other spot. But they need to find a guy that is all but Rose's equal. And they will be fine. They have to free thierselves from Boozer and Deng, and do whatever to get Nikola over here sooner then later. He does us no good in spain, and decide what the real value of that charlotte pick is. Rose is 23 years old, So hopefully the rest of his career is healthy and he returns to form from this injury.

What is wrong with Deng? He is only 27 and he made the allstar team last year. He is one of the best defenders at SF, a good 3pt shooter, good leader, and has great character. If you are trading him for a younger player with a great ceiling, OK, but we do not need to just "free theirselves" of him. In a year or two, we need to replace Boozer with Mirotic, get something with the Char pick, and (after tanking this year) get a quality draft pick next year, hopefully a SG.

I can understand why! If they are asking for all of that from us, then what are they asking from LA? Better not give him away like when LA got Gasol. Maybe Noah, Taj, Hamilton, Charlotte's pick and 2 future 1st's, but that is as far as we should go!

Once you get another star in here....the Bulls will have no trouble finding role players. If you get Dwight...you can just keep Boozer. He actually fits Dwights game pretty well. Inside outside game. That seems like a lot that Orlando would be asking for in return. They can have Noah,Taj,Butler,Teague but not both Mirotic and Charlotte pick. They would have to only pick 1. The Bulls would still have Deng,Rose,Boozer,RIP and Dwight. Thats a contender right there. Plus you still have the ability to amnesty somebody in the future years. You get rid of Noah...which is fine because you get Dwight. Ill miss seeing Taj go, but who knows what kind of offer he will get next year from other teams if he hits free agency. Butler is a role player, Teague is a rookie, most likely a role player. Charlotte pick could be someone who sucks or a solid player...but your going to have to wait. Mirotic looks to be a good player but who knows when he is coming over.
Rose, Hinrich RIP, (Ronnie Brewer?) Deng, Radmonovic Boozer, Mirotic? Dwight,
With a team like that people will actually want to play for the Bulls. Dengs contract is up in a couple years, Boozer could be amnestied. RIP is gone next year. Plus you will still have Mirotic or the Charlotte pick. Opens a lot of money up to build around your 2 superstars.

Deng at what they will have to pay him ? You can get a guy that does everything Deng does for half the price ? Show me the stats he is a "Best" defender ? Lebron drops 30 on every person that guards him. So for the 12 to 14 mil I'll field a team of guys, not one guy. Charlotte will stay one of the worst teams in the league for years. So that pick won't bring anything for 4 years. And knowing the Bulls luck, That year Charlotte will make the playoffs and the Bulls will get the 20th pick. Do you really think Deng would have made the All-Star team if his team-mate Rose wasn't so good, Or his coaching staff wasn't selected to coach the team ? He will never make the All-Star team again. He shots the three for one year and now he's a deep threat ? What they need to really do ... Is Amnesty Boozer, and free money up to go after a real All-Star not a pretend All-Star.

You have NO clue what it takes to make a team, it is not only how many points you can score, you need to play defense, rebound, set picks, box out, rotate, & pass and Deng does many of those things very well, and he does belong on the allstar team. How do you think the Bulls had the best record each of the last 2 years, it is not only Rose, remember Rose missed a lot of games last year and we still had the best record. Why did the other coachs vote Deng onto the allstar team? Why did Thibs say Deng is the glue that holds the team together? So I guess you know more than Thibs and the other coaches in the league, maybe you should try to be the coach, you wouldn't last a week. I may agree that Boozer needs to be amnestied, but not this year and not until Mirotic or someone better comes along. Please learn how to spell their, it is not thier.
