I see the Clippers being serious contenders within the next 5 years or so.. out of this group, they've got the best chance.

You do realize they just signed Jamal Crawford and Ryan Hollins, right? They were free agents, and the Clippers chose to do that...

Yeah but I really like the CP3/Blake Griffin combo (especially down the road if Paul signs long-term and BG continues to progress). I also think DeAndre Jordan can be a Tyson Chandler type of center that defends/rebounds and is always alley-oop threat.

Clippers and Nuggets for now.  Timberwolves still have to play some games with this roster before we know what they have as a team.

Need to check your math, Nuggets didn't enter in to the NBA until 75-76 season

Do you mean the current lineups? You're right. But technically nobody said anything about current lineups. It could be a year from now or nine hundred years from now, it's just "who do you think will get there first".

But if you're talking about individual players I definitely think you can build a championship team around CP3 and Griffin. Especially if Griffin becomes the player he has the potential to be.

No, I mean I'd wager none of those teams will win with any of the players they have right now. The Clippers have the best shot but they'll probably run out of time because CP3's no spring chicken, Miami's really good and OKC's stars are young.

I agree with what was said earlier, that among those teams, it's the Clippers that have the biggest chance to win the title. You realise, zu, that Paul is only 27 years old, right? Maybe Clippers medical staff isn't as great as the one that Suns have, but Paul still has some bright years ahead of him.

I don't really understand why is Minnesota listed so high, I don't think they have bigger chances than Denver or Memphis.

Yeah but his right knee isn't 27. I don't wanna look too far ahead but I'd say the next 3 years belong to the Heat, Lakers and Thunder. After that, Paul's 30. Do the Clippers prospects then improve? Not so sure about that.

They have a better future with the core they already have than Denver/Memphis.

Check again. Larry Brown's Nuggets lost in the '75-'76 Finals. The ABA Finals

I included the ABA years too. So in 46 years they didn't win an ABA or NBA championship.

That explains why you excluded the pacers.
