The team plays better under the Spaniard.
I hope the Raptor's deep thinkers clue into this.

Just great - does this mean we have to sign him to another 10M/yr contract? Maybe BC will give him max 5 yr? lol

Sure hope not. If anything I'd trade him now while his value is this high.

Trading him makes no sense right now.
You trade him now and you are pretty much tanking.
John Lucas as the starting PG?
No thanks.

Huh? How does NOT trading make no sense? In fact, how does that even suffice as tanking? His value is high, and he's an expiring contract. Team can get some great value for him for a player that I will no re-sign in the offseason (simply feel the price tag would be too much again). Plus, he's a way we can package Bargnani to take on a package of players for contracts to match. His defense is still horrible, and the two PG on the floor is a system that just does not work.

Right, but only one of those PGs is playing at the moment so it makes sense to wait until Lowry is healthy before moving Jose.

Jose has been playing out of his mind. We need to trade him but I really do hate to see him go. The way he is playing, there has to be a lot of teams wanting him and his expiring contract.
But last night, he couldn't stay in front of Stuckey which was a big reason the game was even close.

I was also confused last night when Casey closed the game with Kleiza at the PF and not Ed.
IMO we were lucky to win the game with the 3pt chucking line up with AA and LK on the floor. Kleiza didn't look good. AA more or less took over Bargnani's role on offense, except he actually made 3 in a row.
Ed played well again, he should have been on the floor with Amir or Val. That's the lineup that got us to 11 point lead if I remember correctly... Anyway, I'm glad we won but the line ups continue to keep me scratching my head.
