he could as far as fastbreaks go but he's not a shooter. but then agian maybe that's what they need. But why bring in another wing man? they need lost post scoring

desmond mason was a former 17 ppg scorer, and averaged 13 ppg last year.

i love barnes, and dont want him to go. i think he is the glue and toughness of the warriors. i would rather have pietrus go.

he fits, almost any wing player in the nba fits in with their style of play but for how much? is he going to want 17ppg money or 13 ppg money. he'll be cheaper then peitrus regardless though. we can kiss peitrus goodbye.

Mason is an above-average defender.  He would be a great pickup for GS, but I think they should focus on other positions like backup point, and CENTER!!!

I think that with time, Brandan Wright and Andris Biedrins will develope to be a great frontcourt duo because of their athleticism, which will lead to matchup problems. At the mo, we need a good backup center, backup pg, and we definitely need to resign Barney and Peet.

Didn't Mason shoot 10 for 10 or something like that against us this past season? He certainly should be an option and now with our 10M trade exception we should be able to sign him outright if we wanted. The thing is, there may be better out there so I think we need to wait and see before pulling the trigger on that one. Mason is pretty darn good player. I wonder how much he might cost us?
