Now the latest rumor is Smith would like to play with BOTH Jennings and Ellis.

ATL receives - Beno Udrih, Mike Dunleavy, John Henson, Tobias Harris and a future 1st round pick
Total incoming salary: $14.4 million

MIL receives - Josh Smith and DeShawn Stevenson
Total incoming salary: $15.4 million

Hawks maintain their cap flexibility for next season, get two young players on rookie deals and a 1st rounder.

Bucks eat a small contract.

Just a side bar for everyone.

Include the Bucks in just about every trade you do. They have the most fun pieces and should be the most active team at the deadline since they are currently sitting in that no man's land in the standings. Between all the expirings, movable stars (Sanders is probably the only player thats untouchable, and that's probably not true either), young talent on rookie deals, and a couple bad contracts themselves, they can go in about 50 different directions at the deadline.

I wouldn't part with three potential core pieces of the future for a Smith rental. Not to mention Dunleavy and Udrih are solid. Give 'em Monta and expirings, call it a day.

This was just a trade based on the rumor Smith would like to play with both Monta and Jennings. Heard he would sign long term with the Bucks if the backcourt wasn't broken up in his deal.
