These summer "moves" or lack thereof scream to me tank.  All these top free agents all landing in places not named Toronto is frustrating.  All I see for Toronto now is lateral moves/minor moves that gives the team third string depth.  I don't know call me a frustrated fan

What?  That would have been a great deal for the Raptors, both of those contracts expire this year.  Clean slate next year with $20 million in cap space.
Joe? Is that you trying to save your ***?

The Raptors couldn't sign any good free agenst anyway because they don't have cap space. They want cap flexibility so they're making moves like the Bargs deal. Even if they could sign free agents, there'd be no point as they're not winning a title and it would just cut further into their cap hit. This shouldn't be frustrating if you're aware of the direction the franchise is going in.

He's certainly better than Acy so I assume he'll backup Amir.

Yeah, it's a good move. I can see him strating for two years until the Raptors get 20+ mill in cap space and attempt to upgrade.

Looks like Chris Wright is going to be given a real shot at making this team. enough to have a great chance of making the team this year,  coming on his return to our summer league team. He did well last year, but his lack of a jump shot hurt his chance of making the team. I'd take him over an amnestied/traded Kleiza.
