Looking at many mock drafts, most of the players that Detroit would readily prefer will be off the board.

The only potential top 5 pick that may slip is Anthony Bennett (UNLV). Mostly because teams question is lack of effort on defense, he's undersized for the 4, didn't do anything during the combine and won't be available for private workout due to his injured shoulder. Also, he has asthma. Yeah, sounds great for a top 10 pick, eh?

Shabazz Muhammad could be a good upside pick here, but it seems like a lot of top 10 teams have soured on him.

It would be cool if Burke fell.

I would prefer alex len. Though its looking less and less likely that he will fall to 8.

For sure! I mean who else could the Pistons, who need a PG, SG or SF or maybe even a true PF, draft? It's not like they already have Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe, who both also play the C position.

Yeah. You two must have been advising the Raptors not to take Drummond because they had Jonas V.

Great job.

By the way, the Pistons are losing maxiell and likely villanueva, so it's not like they can't use another big man you retards.

Did the Raptors have back to back selections of centers in back to back drafts and both showed that they could be very, very good?

Losing 2 PF's, select a 3rd center in 3 years. Gotcha.

Does that excuse drafting a significantly worse player because you already have two players that showed they can be very, very good?

Btw...which players showed the can be "very, very good"?

Please don't answer that.

You don't think Monroe and Drummond have showed lots of promise?  Huh Huh

Of course not, you trade the pick/player. You don't just let the guy sit on the bench. You get something out of a player or get rid of them for something of value.

Theres nothing wrong with drafting a third center, centers are generally most likely to get hurt, having a spare big that also shows promise wouldn't hurt.

They could actually get Burke minutes though. Besides, even if they didn't want to (to tank for next year), they could easily bury him in the rotation for the year. Then your SLU for the next year would be Burke, Knight, 2014 draftee, Monroe, Drummond or Burke, Knight, 2014 Draftee, Free Agent PF, Monroe/Drummond.

Or you could have a line up of Bynum/Stuckey, Knight, Singler, Monroe, Drummond/Len.

You were talking about the Raptors right? Or do you just have no idea what your talking about? The Pistons haven't drafted centers two years in a row.
