There is an article on realgm saying he is taking the benching like a professional. That is always good to hear.

I wouldn't complain being paid 11 million to sit courtside.

I don't believe that's the case, his production has been in steady decline for the past few seasons. While he's still in pretty impeccable shape, he'll be 34 by seasons end and a lot of his game was predicated on bulldozing to the basket and drawing contact (in fact, he ranks 54th all-time in free throw attempts). This type of play can really put a beating on your body, at least that would make logical sense. His style of play has always garnered him a reputation as a "cancer" or whatever so it's nice to see that he's taking the benching in stride though.

Maybe plenty left was an overstatement by me but if Kurt Thomas can play minutes he can at least fill some minutes for some team.
