Chicago wants Aldridge, so I'd assume they'd be interested in Greg. We get a do it all SF, the best player in the euro league and a first. Smith moves to PF

They wouldn't give up that much for Monroe.

Butler is solid but he's not that good. Definitely not good enough to trade Moose for.

He averaged 8 ppg and 4 rbs a game during the regular season, his stats only ballooned in the playoffs when he started played 44 mpg.

He gives you solid defense but not much else.

Moose+Knight for Rose all day.

Could that be because he didn't get playing time when he had 8 and 4?

Butler is exactly what Detroit needs in their lineup, and looking at the common dominant scorers in the NBA, theyll need an athletic wing, who can play defense to be able to compete with the Heat, Pacers, Bulls, etc for the east. Drummond is going to be a beast in the post as early as this year, and Mirotic (prediction) will complement him better going forward.

No thank you I rather see how our team works and I'm sure Greg will field a rondo trade if it doesn't work

Didn't the Pistons make a preliminary offer for Rondo?

pistons offered Knight+Stuckey and maybe a future pick for rondo which the c's rightfully laughed off, then the c's offered rondo for drummond which the pistons rightfully laughed off.

The rumors now are that rondo for monroe might happen in late september.

This is pure assumption trying to connect dots from the past 2 years and this summer.

But I could see a Jennings, Ersan, and Udoh for Knight and Monroe swap happening.

Jennings is linked to the Pistons again, so Dumars can deny it all he wants, but discussions are clearly happening.

Monroe next to Sanders and Henson would be a dang good pairing.

And again, Ersan next to Drummond and Smith would be a dang good pairing.

Think it is a deal that makes sense for both teams as they transition toward the future.
