Quote
John Paxson denied a report from Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski, one of the NBA's most well-respected reporters, that Tom Thibodeau and Gar Forman continue to have a toxic relationship.

Thibodeau and Forman have had several disagreements on personnel moves.

‘‘We’re so far past that,’’ he said. ‘‘To continue to try and keep it going, I don’t know what the agenda is. That’s one thing that we all talked about, really from the beginning of this year: No one has any agenda here.

‘‘If you’re really going to say something like that, then go on the record, be a man, put your name out there. Don’t hide behind that stuff. But from our perspective, from our seat, we’re doing great. The relationship is healthy. We all want the same thing, and that’s to be as good as we possibly can out there on the floor."

Thibodeau and Paxson were seen discussing business as usual during Summer League.

‘‘I don’t think there’s any doubt that it’s been blown way out of proportion,’’ said Paxson. ‘‘I think someone other than anyone in our organization has an agenda that really doesn’t suit what we’re all about. No matter what you do in this business, when you’re making decisions, whether it’s based on personnel or anything like that, you’re going to have ideas, different opinions, and that’s what we do. We sit in a room and talk these things through. The thing is, right now we’re all on the same page, and there are no hidden agendas from Gar, myself and Tom.’’

This is why I never get too involved in media stories, you just never really know what's going on. I'm sure Thibs has voiced his frustrations of the Den deal not getting done, but it's not like he's a sure goner.  The FO simply wants to evaluate this team at full strength, something the Bulls havent been in years.  If this group of players want to continue to play together, win ball games.  The font office isn't going to dissect a successful team.

I'd get rid of GarPax well before I let Thibs walk.

Thibs is a bit over rated in my opinion.  He runs his starters into the ground, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the players have secretly gone to ownership about their displeasure.

But if the Bulls win a title, then just forget all of this.

The only player I could see being a whiny little *** about it is Boozer, and he doesn't even play half the 4th quarter when everyone is healthy. Outside of him, I honestly don't see anyone else on the team that would complain. This team has a bunch of great competitors, not beast mode prima-donnas ala Dwight Howard.
