Why do you get so worked up GW? It's a forum, we have serious basketball discussions and have a laugh or two.

When you start threads like "Oh look at poor Derrick Rose" when you have nothing to base it on except a poor video where he avoids contact, or "See you guys were all wrong about Deng and Rose shooting the 3", what do you expect? The second one was in fact you baiting everyone else, and this one in itself had no basis of discussion.

You are correct that at times because of your Bulls homerism (sorry dude, it's kind of true) people will jump on you right away, but you kind of brought that on yourself.

Yis stopped with his and people take him seriously. You continuously talk about how Chicago is pretty much the best team that ever existed, Omar Asik is the next superstar, and how Luol Deng is better than Lebron James (over-exaggerating a bit to get the point across).

I'm not saying tell us Chicago sucks, or be a passionate fan, but don't come in with "OMG ITS NOT FAIR ROSE GETS FOULED AND OMG IM SO PISSED AND OMG EVERYONE GETS CALLS BUT ROSE!!!".

In fairness, you started some of it in the other thread.

Not really.  All I did was point out an injustice.  I had every right to reaffirm that after all the bashing I was getting in the end I was right.

Very well. But put it this way, what if, at the end of the season, Deng and Rose's three point percentages drop off dramatically (as I said in the other forum, this time in 2006 Luke Walton was the top three point shooter in the league ... that enough should be a warning) and someone makes a thread to point it out.
You would be the first person to say that it's baiting and unfair. You can't deny that.

I don't personally care for the thread derailments, I ignore most of it, but what you are doing is just as bad as what were complaining people do to you - e.g. baiting etc. That other thread is the worst case I've seen of it. You're basically saying 'suck it, losers.' How do you expect people to react? Especially when you only react to the stupid comments and not the actual basketball comments - I can't believe you're still doing that after so long.

For someone who claims to be so intelligent and knowledgable, your double standards are alarming sometimes.

There's only so much a mod can do if it's coming from both sides. Which it has been. I'm pretty neutral on these threads but it's a constant back and forth. The best you can do is ignore comments that aren't basketball related and do your part in keeping the thread on topic.

People have the right to joke, and more often than not you give people reasons to. Take it with a grain of salt.
