You guys are delusional.  Thomas Robinson, the 5th pick in the same draft, has been traded twice already and neither trade has involved a first rounder.   You reallllly think Marquis Teague is more valuable than Robinson?  I'd trade Teague for Robinson in a heart beat.  Robinson was moved to clear payroll, but it's not like his salary is insane, he's still on the rookie scale.  Teague has done nothing in the NBA to warrant a first rounder.

One of those trades was to make room for Dwight so and the other they had an absolute log jam and he wasn't getting playing time. Like others have said, there's a difference between trading a guy because you don't want him and trading a guy because someone else wants him. dabulls1 said it perfectly.

They aren't the ones trying to trade him. Utah trades whatever (within reason) Chicago wants or Teague stays in Chicago.

Bulls should be happy with what they can get for Teague, which I think is a late first.

If we traded him for just a pick, I probably wouldn't be happy with something worse than like 20-22ish range. I wouldn't settle for like a #28 pick or anything like that. The dude has mad talent he's just raw, which is why he dropped to us. He's only going to be 20 when the year starts. I would love to be able to keep him around and develop him if we can't get something good for him though.

He ranked better than Bledsoe coming out of college. He's an inch taller and every bit as athletic. He's just gotta keep developing his game. He's shown a lot more flashes so far this offseason than he did last year so he's definitely getting better. I really hope Thibs will work him into the lineup some more, especially when Rose sits for a few games here and there. As a fan, I absolutely wouldn't give up on him or just give him away at this point.

I always thought out of all of the UK players that year he is the one that needed another year.
