I wish i am wrong, but i have the feeling that the final will be USA - ARGENTINA

Why are Spaniards so pessimistic about their national team? You even predicted Serbia would beat Spain. Be optimistic, man; you have a very good team.

when they win something i will be optimistic, we havent won anything yet. It was a really exciting game, spain won 75-74, Nocioni had the last shot to win, Gasol injured wont play the final. Spain had the chance to break winning by 9 in the last quarter but Calderon and Navarro played for Argentina today. McMillan will be impressed with S. Rodriguez performance today. Garbajosa just amazing, he showed today why the raptors signed him.
The joy is much sweeter when you think you are going to lose and you win

You were wrong in your last predictions about Spain. Remember Serbia, quarterfinals and so on. Why do you think your feelings are right now?

I LOVE BEING WRONG MAN!!!!

I will keep trying, easy victory for greece in the final.

Will Pau Gasol play in the final or not? Is anything certain about his injury?

Then it is really hard for Spain to win it, especially if Navarro plays like he did today. Gasol's injury and not playing is really really bad for Spanish side.

Well, you should know that sprained ankle is not always a minor injury, it can simetimes take 2-3 weeks to come back ( and simetimes it is all right after a couple of days)

Man...I saw the situation in which Gasol sprained his left ankle...I think that is not so serious!

We will see this after 2 days but my opinion is that Gasol will play!!!

Now it is certain that Pau Gasol will not play in the Final. Link:http://www.fiba.com/pages/eng/fe/06_wcm/news/lateNews/FE_news_lateNews_arti.asp?newsID=16233

ESP - Pau Gasol misses final with foot injury

SAITAMA (FIBA World Championship) - Spain have confirmed their superstar power forward Pau Gasol is out of Sunday's FIBA World Championship final against Greece with a left foot injury.

Gasol, who had 19 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots in Spain's 75-74 semi-final triumph over Argentina, missed the end of the game after falling ackwardly under the challenge of Fabricio Oberto.

"Tests have confirmed that the player suffers from a partial fracture of his fifth metatarsal in his left foot and will miss the final," said a statement from the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB).
