Rumor of Carlos Boozer for Eric Gordon deal ? http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/535621/20140123/nba-trade-rumors-news.htm#.UuO-OrQo7H4According to ESPN.com, the New Orleans Pelicans is looking at trading Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans and the Chicago Bulls could be a destination. While Rose out, the Bulls still has a chance to make the playoffs in the east, as it is currently in fifth position despite being 20-20 and after making a little run to the second round last season, it could be looking at doing that again,"Are you buying or selling?

No thanks.
A) We don't need another super-injury prone player. B) Gordon doesn't bring enough to the table anymore to justify paying him $15 mil per, especially since we'd have to pay him through the 2015-2016 season. I'd rather just amnesty Boozer or play with him for another year and clear up space. I definitely would try to get in on a 3-team deal to get some expirings and what not if someone else wants Gordon.

Yah like Phoenix sends Okafor to the Bulls, Then Bulls send Boozer to NOLA, and NOLA sends Gordon to Phoenix.

That'd be something I'd jump on for sure. I don't know if Phoenix would want to though. I really think Boozer would be a better addition for Phoenix than Gordon since they tend to struggle with half court offense. He also becomes a big expiring for them next year if things aren't working out. I feel like they'd rather look elsewhere though unfortunately.

Here is a good article for those of you that can read. http://kingjamesgospel.com/2014/01/22/chicago-bulls-5050-carlos-boozer-amnesty/I feel the Bulls haven't decided their done with Boozer yet. But if they come to that realization, I see them preferring a trade rather than amnesty. Just like they could have took the easy way out and just let Deng walk if all they wanted was financial flexibility, they can do the same with Booze. So it makes better business sense to try to get something of value back. Plus, in a trade they can add salaries to the deal, In amnesty you just rid Boozer's money.

Bulls beat the Cats and Boozer didn't look impressive at all, I see why the Bulls would start Gibson and not miss a beat now.

Boozer just is a bad fit on a defense 1st team. I think he would be great on some teams, and for those small market teams getting him via trade is their only chance.

I would take him if it were next year or if we are far enough out of the playoffs come the trade deadline.

Depends on what the situation with Mirotic is. I'm starting to think he isn't coming this summer and GarPax knows that, this is why they are keeping Boozer around. As an expiring player teams are going to offer players with longer deals to dump salary for Boozer. The Bulls have their best chance to move Boozer now. They just have to realize that they will not get any talent back, pure financial. Suns Send: Emeka Okafor 2015 1st Bulls Send: Carlos Boozer and Sac pick

http://www.sportsworldreport.com/articles/26123/20140103/chicago-bulls-trade-rumors-luol-deng-carlos-boozer-deals-carmelo.htmThe only thing better than amnestying Boozer this summer is a trade for an expiring. It makes no sense to move him for other players, unless those player expire in the summer. Thats another thing they liked about Deng trade. The fact they could waive Bynum and save even more money, than just letting Deng walk (they would have had to pay him for half a season more) or a trade for a player they had to keep around the rest the season and pay that player.

Let's see if the Bulls start targeting expirings.
