Are we simply ranking physical talents like arm strength and speed?  I feel like aptitude, pocket awareness, accuracy, and quick release are all talents that matter as well.

if the QB can fling the ball the hardest, or even 80 yards, but he lacks deep ball accuracy ( or just lacks accuracy in general)...personally, he ain makin my list.  the object is to hit the receiver.  not the fans.

but i'll just shout out few guys missing from the previous lists so everybody gets some shine;

Warren Moon ( cannon and pretty accurate at his peak.  mobile enough. )
Joe Montana ( no cannon, but decent arm strength and very mobile.  great, great accuracy.)
Roger Staubach ( accurate deep ball and very mobile.)

thank goodness Ill managed to find a spot for Marino in there, even if it is #10...greatest ever thrower of the football deserves a mention

Fair enough.
Fair enough..probably the 2nd ugliest season I've ever seen from the Ravens.
Flacco kind of is a bum..Yeah I get that he isn't that good..

Physical talents. Accuracy and quick release are part of that.

It's all relative. Luck has good arm strength compared to the rest of the NFL now, but George, Cunningham and Favre rolled out of bed at 40 with stronger arms than Luck today

It's one of the strongest arms among any QBs right now and his speed and agility numbers were comparable to Cam Newton.  There's a reason he was the most hyped prospect since Elway.
