"like usual"

Canada took it last time breh. Try and stay current.

Norway is raking in the medals right now but most of their best events are done. I expect Canada, Russia and I guess the USA to start climbing up the medal standings now.

Would you rather finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at something?

Considering I'm from the US, I'm already better than you.

"Winter Olympics"

Like anybody cares

In a number of countries the winter Olympics are more popular than the summer games. There is a reason small countries like norway are so dominant, winter sports are essentially the nation's past time. The fact that Norway the wealthiest country on this planet helps as well of course, but winter sports for them is what football and basketball is for the US.

stfu stupid american

*32 million Americans tune into opening ceremonies on a FRIDAY NIGHT
*nobody cares

Anyways, Norway is racking up the medals still but Canada and the Netherlands are hot on their tails. Of course Canada is basically guaranteed 4 medals in both curling and hockey (mens and womens) so that's a good head start.

^^ same for the Netherlands. We have 6 out of 6 medals in men's speed skating right now. Unfortunately, once the speed skating competition is over, so will the Netherland's medal run be.

Fun fact, the top three countries in the current medal standings have a combined population that is less than the two largest states of the country which ostensibly is "going to take it, like usual."
