I think hearing feedback on trade ideas is positive, and the speculation is always better than the trades. As for your trade, The Bulls have "untouchable" on Noah so I doubt he is part of any deal. Al though, I also have looked at Amare but going to the Suns. The hard thing is that Melo trades move alot of money around because his contract is so big.
The Knicks want to keep him, but the decision is Melo's. He can opt out this summer or be a UFA next summer. So he may give NY one last chance. This would be stupid on his part, because Amare, Chandler etc have clogged up the books. Even if Melo takes half the money he is getting now, the Knicks can barely make a move. So the only way the Knicks get better is via a trade. They have no 1st round picks until 2018 or something.
So they would love to build around Melo, the problem is they would have to move out some big deals to get that done. And not many people lining up to get Amare or Tyson's contracts. So a Melo blockbuster is the only way. But I think Melo has a no trade option or kicker also ...right? So he is going to have to say "I wanna win at all cost" and the cost maybe leaving NY for greener pastures. Even his college coach recently said that he cant win in New York.
Amar'e Stoudemire $21,679,893 $23,410,988 Carmelo Anthony $21,388,954 $23,333,405 Tyson Chandler $14,100,538 $14,596,888 Andrea Bargnani $11,862,500 $11,500,000
They might try sending Chandler back to Dallas and amnestying Amare. Thats a start... Al though Boozer's 16 million is pricey, imagine Amare's 21 million... and trying to find dance partners in trades. Either he leaves NY or Melo will be the next Stephon Marbury... just what he feared. If he really wants to Win rings, He comes to the Bulls and makes peace with NY by bringing them a package of picks and expiring contracts. Because if he just walks and pulls a Dwight Howard move, New York will shun him forever.
