Hi Guys,

It is my first post and I hate those dorks that come in with absurd trade proposals but this was an interesting one to me and I thought I would throw it out there since it was the silly season

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lg8w2tw

Not an ideal trade since Amare has a player option for next year but his money comes off after that and the Bulls could use that for luring Love to Chitown...I know it is wishful thinking but I am a 13 year kid who lives in his mom's basement and needs to something to cling to since she has blocked all the porn. lol blast away but if you have a Drose, Melo and hopefully Love a year later that is not too bad. Again blast away. Have a good night fellas.

I think hearing feedback on trade ideas is positive, and the speculation is always better than the trades. As for your trade, The Bulls have "untouchable" on Noah so I doubt he is part of any deal. Al though, I also have looked at Amare but going to the Suns. The hard thing is that Melo trades move alot of money around because his contract is so big.

The Knicks want to keep him, but the decision is Melo's. He can opt out this summer or be a UFA next summer. So he may give NY one last chance. This would be stupid on his part, because Amare, Chandler etc have clogged up the books. Even if Melo takes half the money he is getting now, the Knicks can barely make a move. So the only way the Knicks get better is via a trade. They have no 1st round picks until 2018 or something.

So they would love to build around Melo, the problem is they would have to move out some big deals to get that done. And not many people lining up to get Amare or Tyson's contracts. So a Melo blockbuster is the only way. But I think Melo has a no trade option or kicker also  ...right? So he is going to have to say "I wanna win at all cost" and the cost maybe leaving NY for greener pastures. Even his college coach recently said that he cant win in New York.

Amar'e Stoudemire $21,679,893    $23,410,988
Carmelo Anthony  $21,388,954    $23,333,405
Tyson Chandler    $14,100,538    $14,596,888
Andrea Bargnani $11,862,500    $11,500,000

They might try sending Chandler back to Dallas and amnestying Amare. Thats a start... Al though Boozer's 16 million is pricey, imagine Amare's 21 million... and trying to find dance partners in trades. Either he leaves NY or Melo will be the next Stephon Marbury... just what he feared. If he really wants to Win rings, He comes to the Bulls and makes peace with NY by bringing them a package of picks and expiring contracts. Because if he just walks and pulls a Dwight Howard move, New York will shun him forever.

Yes I agree with you. If Melo and DRose team up they could become a massive threat to the super friends down in Miami. No telling how DRose is going to perform after this last injury, I think he will still be an extremely good player to great player I am not sure he will be as explosive. I am also glad he sat out the entire year last year.

In my trade I was trying to give the Knicks something because you have to give to get in most trades unless you are the Lakers and Memphis but that is an argument for another day. I know you can't give up what would be a few descent players. I would hate to lose Noah. I cheered very hard when he was taken in the draft and then again when he signed his deal. He is one of my favorite players so putting him in that trade was tough but like you said he is prolly untouchable. I just don't see anything else they would take though.

So it is back to building via the draft and prayer and hope. lol
