Stupid article if you ask me, trading Deng got them out of the luxury, if this team was looking to "tank" which is stupid to suggest in the first place, they wouldn't have signed D.J Augustin. Love how he tabs trading Teague as a bad thing, proves he's never actually seen Marquis Teague play basketball before.

Call me crazy, but if the Bulls and Pacers meet in the playoffs, that would be a tougher series than expected.

Bulls are going to compete every single game in the playoffs, it's just how they play.  The Bulls showed last year that they can easily take a game or two, or even a series if you ask Brooklyn.  Problem is Pacers defense is so good that it's going to be tough for Chicago to generate offense.  I'd expect Boozer to be a non factor as usual in the playoffs, and you can't expect Augustin and Butler to carry the team offensively. I'd be more optimistic if Deng was still around, he not only added another scoring option, but his defense would be pretty key in a series against the Pacers.

The reason they didn't "tear it completely down" is because Thibs would have walked.
