Quote
Tom Thibodeau reiterated on Monday that Derrick Rose will miss the Chicago Bulls' entire season after suffering a torn meniscus in late November.

A report in the New York Daily News stated on Sunday that the Bulls were expecting Rose to return in time for the playoffs.

Rose has made steady progress in his rehabilitation. The Bulls have consistently maintained Rose will sit out the whole season.

It may mess up the teams chemistry anyway.

They don't want Rose's recovery to hurt a chance at a free agent. So he will not play until summer Olympic stuff July-august ... They will have someone (Free Agent) signed before he ever starts really "coming back" I bet. The bulls front office is smart and know everyone is under the assumption he comes back 100%, So their going to take advantage while they can. My opinion is he will never play the same, and I think it will be noticeable...sorry. His game is all about that explosiveness, and I feel he loses that and people around him talk him into changing his game (style) and see it effecting how he plays the rest of his career. More than not Great players that have knee injuries are remembered for their knee injury. (Sayers, McDice, Penny etc etc )

Don't look like they have both hands around Mirotic's neck yet either.

Mirotic is starting to be an issue. I hope he's not just hype.

I feel he will be a good player if not great, but the problem is he likes his role with RMD. The Bulls are going to have to spend some real cash to get him here next season, still a big chuck for 2015 and than 2016 is best window.

He is like 6'10 ish .. But with the talk about Love and him liking the idea of big cities I think the Bulls wise to pull a move for Kevin Love. I feel if they had inside info they had a shot at Love next summer I would package Mirotic and one or both our 1sts and go get a legit star candidate. Im not saying trade with Minny for Love, Im saying ship Mirotic's rights in a deal to pull a gem like McBuckets out of this draft. And then have the cap room to sign Love when he walks from Minny.

Rose
Butler
McBuckets
Love
Noah

Mirotic will have to be pretty damn good to top Love. And frankly I dont think he can, at best he could be the same. So why not make a move ? http://espn.go.com/blog/los-angeles/lakers/post/_/id/39404/llakers-can-still-dream-about-kevin-love?ex_cid=espnapi_public

I guess because that way Minny at least gets something in return.

It would be kind of cool to see him back in, if he's feeling alright. Practicing non contact stuff, last I heard. Seems like he's been mentoring Augustine in a way too, perhaps gave him a tip or two out of his own play book. Hope to see D rose back in there whenever he is ready.
