Taj Gibson might stick around with our franchise for years but he's more of a rotational regular guy whose productive off the bench.

Boozer will eventually be gone.

That will come down to the Montenegrin, potentially Kevin Love/free agent, or start from scratch with a rookie.

Because of the long pain in the *** wait, we're going to test out the Montenegrin, irregardless whether or not he becomes mediocre or actually ends up becoming a star or close to that level like a Danilo Galinari type.

I just don't see Kevin Love coming here. Not because of the weather or any trivial issue like that but because the Lakers will do ANYTHING to obtain him and unlike us they don't give a damn about luxury tax or other issues. They want him and they will be sure to get him any way they can. And they'll do that by giving into his demand by getting him a legitimate point guard, some decent role players, competent material to work with, somewhat legit coach before he arrives. I could see someone like Kyrie Irving or some at least somewhat competent point guard in LA, then Love eventually joining.

Melo

For real though, probably Taj. I think they'll end up trying to groom someone behind him for the future.

I'm looking at the list and Kevin Love is the best player on that list. No one really knows what he is thinking or where he will end up. But I do know he is better than everyone on the list. So as a fan, I want him in a Chicago Bulls jersey, more than I want to see Nikola Mirotic, More than I want to see how well Taj plays in his 30's or of course Boozer isn't the answer. I want the best players and of the list Love is the best player. Love and a rookie that can do close to what Taj does... That works for me.

Taj 8m
Booze 16

23 mil

Kevin Love ? 16- 18 mil
Rookie 2 mil

18- 20 mil

There's a HUGE difference between what we "want" and what is realistic. I assumed this question was going for a more realistic answer. Obviously Love is the choice if we can gets whoever we want. No way in hell Minny is going for that deal though

Put yourself in Kevin's shoes, You want to WIN, His biggest beef with the Wolves is they are a non-playoff team, and he wants to compete in the playoffs and WIN. So what does his Uncle being a beach boy have to do with winning? smh. He played for UCLA but he is from Oregon. He has played in Minnesota for awhile now, So I'm sure he won't mind Chicago Winters. And in Chicago he can..... WIN.

“People think it’s so far-fetched that I would stay in Minnesota. And I’m not shitting on the Lakers, but we have the better team, the better foundation. ” - Kevin Love

Thus far he has not struck me as a premadonna, So the lights of Hollywood are not what motivates him. So yes... thankfully you see he is the best option. And Los Angeles in coming up on non-Kobe time, So they will try everything, but it's his choice and Chicago is the best location for him.  A trio of a healthy Rose, Noah and Love would be tops in the East and battle for the finals every season. The Bulls have capspace coming from Boozer and assets in Taj and Mirotic. However, They maybe able to just wait Love out and sign him out right or in a sign and trade next summer. So Gibson and Mirotic plus the lottery picks they have acquired from Sacramento and even Charlotte could be combined to grab you a rock solid two guard or small forward playing on a rookie deal for the next 5 years. I don't except my team doing nothing, I expect them to do everything possible to dominate the NBA.

So what you're saying is that the only two teams he can possibly consider are the Bulls and Lakers? You do realize there are other teams in the NBA, some that have more desirable trade options than the Bulls.

Why would he care about trade options? He hasn't demanded a trade as far as I know. He just has stated he wants to play for a winner, and Minny hasn't proved that for him. Minnesota can trade him wherever they won't, doesn't mean he will stay there. Next summer he is free and clear... I would think he would want the team he can win with, and as a Bull ... Him, Rose and Noah will have multiple chances for a ring. I was just saying that if winning is big in his decision, then LA isn't winning for a few years unless they sign a BIG three. And as long as Kobe is there making 30 million per, that doesn't look like it's happen. New York has it's own issues with salaries of Amare, Tyson... So what team than? Miami, Indiana ? Okc? Clips? where? you tell me MR. Vague. The only option I see that compares to the Bulls is Portland, but why stay in the West, The East has an easier path to finals appearances.

Using Dwight's situation as example: I want the Bulls to be the Rockets.

So you really think Minnesota is going to let him walk for nothing? Do you realize how rarely an organization lets a superstar walk? Talk about stupid statements.

HEY, THE LAKERS LET DWIGHT WALK SO MINNESOTA WILL PROBS LET LOVE WALK. NEVERMIND OTHER EXAMPLES OF MELO, DWIGHT IN ORLANDO, JAMES HARDEN (a little different but same principle), CHRIS BOSH AND LEBRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, and I never said that. You really need to read stuff before you call people stupid. Minny will trade him, maybe even to the Lakers, but unless he re-signs than that team will get the Howard treatment. You do watch basketball right? Cause I thought I all ready said that.

And why would he want to sign with another non-contender or a team that has to prove they can Win first ? You think he wants to be part of a rebuild somewhere? He wants a proven winning organization, that he can be the final piece to the puzzle.

Do you really think another team is going to trade for a half year rental for him? Again HEY, THE LAKERS LET DWIGHT WALK SO MINNESOTA WILL PROBS LET LOVE WALK. NEVERMIND OTHER EXAMPLES OF MELO, DWIGHT IN ORLANDO, JAMES HARDEN (a little different but same principle), CHRIS BOSH AND LEBRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of those were traded to teams who knew they would be signed with for long term. But go ahead and keep hanging your dreams on one rare example when there are many, many, many more out there that have the exact opposite happening.

Why do you keep acting like the only two teams that can sign Love are the Lakers and Chicago?
