K we have to turn this standings list into a 1-to-30, worst record to best record, for the draft lottery.

We can sim in on this online Draft Simulator from shitGM.com: http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/draft_simulator

We can set the draft order this way and then start making picks.

I can't do it right now, but if anyone else wants to, feel free.

Well, I was doing it. But who do we put 1st: Detroit or GS? Same with Indy and Lakers.

Lottery results

1. Bobcats
2. Hornets
3. Magic
4. Nuggets
5. Blazers

then it's the regular order (reverse of the standings).

Of course you then have to look at who owns what picks.

DRAFT ORDER

Golden State (44-38) / Detroit  (44-38)
Indiana (45-37) / LA Lakers (45-37)
Sacramento (47-35) / Boston (47-35)

I gotta go check who won the season series of the tied teams.
what's the second tie break rule for lottery?

because Golden state won 2-0 in season vs. Pistons, as well as Boston (vs. Sacramento) but Indy and LA were tied 1 apiece.

Better winning % against own conference.
