He's another Brazilian prospect who has really good shotblocking instincts and nice hair but there are reports that a bad attitude and poor work ethic will probably keep him from ever being a decent player.

The market for Lowry changed a lot after that playoff series, overall I think it's still a good deal.

If Lowry is a little overpaid the deal for Patterson(3 years, $18 million) and the rumoured deal for Vasquez(3 years, $14.5 million) make up for it as both are bargains. If Derozan plays a whole season the way he did for the second half of last year and the playoff run he could very well be a bargain as well.

With the money Raps gonna have next season, and the success they will have this season (me thinks), they should get to that next level very soon.

A lot of youth and room to grow so even if the team stays basically the same heres to hoping growth and more familiarity with each other will get them over the first round hump and beyond.

and ya 10m/yr for Pat and Vasquez is awesome.

I would like to see us pickup Farouq-Aminu.

It would be interesting to see him and Greivis Vasquez reunite, they were a good duo.

Yup. If we can land Aminu at a good rate, I honk he'll be a real good fit on this team. If DD, Lowry, JV, Ross continue to develop, we'll be a decent offensive club ( not necessarily saying one that'll be able to stand up to playoff level pressure night in, night out, but still) and Aminu at the 3 spot would be a great upgrade from a Defense and rebounding standpoint. The raps have a little bit of space to play with, but I could also be fairly content with them going into the season with this roster and look for Masai to take a bigger swing at UFAs next year.

The Raptors already have a wing who can defend but can't shoot, no need to spend money on another one.

What do you think about PJ Tucker.  The Raptors are reportedly after him.

Yeah, that's not happening.
