What do you think about PJ Tucker.  The Raptors are reportedly after him.

I thought he should have been given a better look the first time the Raptors had him, but at this point they're better of with someone with legit three point range. Tucker can hit corner threes but he was just 6-23 on threes from everywhere else. Tucker is also a restricted free agent, if the Raptors make an offer the Suns won't match it eats into their cap space next year.

If they keep Vasquez the Raptors don't have a lot of minutes available with the addition of Williams. 35 for Lowry and Derozan, 25 for Williams and Vasquez and suddenly there's only 24 minutes available for the rest of the wings. They don't need to add another player to that situation when they've already got Ross and Fields and potentially Bruno.

Working on a buyout for nogeria.  And hoopshype is reporting James Johnson signed for 2 years.  Really I thought Casey couldn't work with him.

Would of preferred PJ over James Johnson, he didn't seem to get along with the coaching staff and would go on bizarre shooting sprees where he'd think he was Kobe a little too often.

Agreed.  Mayb he's matured bouncing around the league.  Hopefully he know his role.  Personally I would be liked to see ed back

Actually called it about a week ago that the Raptors may go after Johnson, his size and defensive ability is the type of player Ujiri would want. Just hope he's smartened up on offense. Not too sure about the domestic abuse issues, but think that if anyone could try and whip a player into shape, it'd be Ujiri.

Now the rumours have moved on to Andray Blatche. Thoughts? Rumoured, Raptors near signing him.

Anthony Morrow is the name I seeing floating around who the Raptors may be interested in.

I think he could be a good fit.

I've been thinking the same thing but we don't have the money left.

According to Raptors Republic we only have $2.5 Million to spend.

Don't we still have all of the MLE to spend, or was part of that used for JJ?

Personally I like the James Johnson move, in his first go round he brought some great defensive energy and was really disruptive (in a good way) on he floor. As ppl have alluded here, he did seem to get a little shot happy at times, and probably didn't like it when Casey tried to get him to settle into a role. I'd like to think that both coach and player have grown and learned over the last couple years, and at the very least we're getting someone that can cover a big 3 effectively, and isn't as totally useless hitting an open shot as Fields is.

I guess Deandre Daniels isn't going to Europe after all?

This is what was being reported a bit after the draft, but I guess things might have changed since then.

Daniels isn't ready for the NBA so if he's not going to Europe I hope he ends up in the D League.
