He is going to make good money and will receive playing time but, not a high level of competition in China. Even Deangelo Collins was dominant in China.

It'll be similar to college.

Oh he'll dominate but he's not going to get anywhere near the coaching he could've gotten from Larry Brown or really any high level D1 coaching, and I'm very critical of almost any college coach for not really being able to coach rather than just recruit.

Oh yeah, I agree. I just meant, other than a handful of games (Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, etc), the competition level will be similar to college.

Question: Because of the recent players who tried this method (Jeremy Tyler, Brandon Jennings, Enes Kanter) and their subsequent success (or lack there of) we view this as a bad decision.  Now here is my actual question if a few prospects chooses with this path to the NBA and had success ( superstar, perennial All-star) would we view this method differently?  Would we embrace prospects foregoing college? Would international scouting improve among the NBA scouts?

Those are all guys who have been playing a lot longer than he. They're also matured into their bodies.

I know I just found it funny there is a professional basketball league where the likes of Erick McCollum, Quincy Douby and Michael Beasely can dominate like that. If Mudiay keeps up the same level of performance at worst he will be the third best prospect in this draft.

The kid will be fine in the NBA.  He got screwed by attending Deon Sander's Charter school that wasn't accredited.
