Right now, Jimmy is one of the best shooting guards in the NBA.  He may be the best defensive wing, and he has improved his offense to be one of the best the league.  I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the all-star game this year.

Jimmy is still not a true 2 guard but it works because Jimmy is quick enough to guard smaller 2s and can post them up on the other end (his old-man game has been fabulous thus far). Kirk has played well enough to be a solid 2 with the bench unit with Brooks running the point mostly and closing out games with the all defense lineup (Rose/Kirk/Jimmy/Taj/Noah).
