I don't get where you're getting the trade part from.

lol. Okay what im saying is that in theory you would have about 10mil space to use but you wouldnt be able to sign FAs with that so if you wanted to improve with a big person, for example, it would have to be via trade.

Actually, it all depends on how what the salary cap figure is going to be for next season.  Also there's a chance now that they could get salary cap relief from Etan Thomas.

How so?

Well yes thats true but I was going by what the percentage increases have been on average over the last few years. But the fact remains that you're not like Dallas (over the cap but full of assets) OR Charlotte before the Richardson trade (way under the cap with room to get said assets).

I guess one of the reasons I'm not too worried about all of it is that I have some sort of weird faith that Blatche and Pesh are going to develop just fine.

Also I'm in a pretty defiant mood after reading where Hollinger thinks the Wizards are going to finish this coming season.

Ha, I didn't even see it on ESPN (as I do not and will not pay for Insider), I saw on it on the Washington Post website.  He throws in about 30 "ifs" as to why the Wizards are going to fail next season.
